5-Horn Studio is an independent publication dedicated to studying arts, mainly including film, literature, drawing, music, and communication area.

This blog site was founded by Amber ZHANG, who graduated from the University of Southampton with an MA in Film Studies. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the National University of Singapore, focusing on comparative aesthetics between China and Japan, with an emphasis on cultural exchanges and soft power.

Her most recent research interests include art therapy, film philosophy (especially Gilles Deleuze's books on cinema and the work of Stanley Cavell), visual thinking and design thinking, multimedia storytelling, and interactive media arts.

I focus on working with academic researchers and artistically driven individuals to translate implicit structures and pathways into explicit forms, helping them articulate clear, sustainable career narratives and directions for action—without sacrificing intellectual depth or personal subjectivity.
